The voters of Washington approved the legal recreational use and distribution of marijuana.  Unfortunately the Liquor Control Board (LCB) was appointed authority to bring the product to market.  The LCB has spent the last year or so devising the tax revenue generating scheme for the market.  They hired an expert on drug control policy to setup the rules for the state.  The first big problem, and example of their idiocy, is not hiring agricultural experts.  Marijuana is an agriculture product.  The second problem is they continue to assert that marijuana is a hard drug.  Science does not support their position on the hard drug stance.  The LCB is making marijuana more illegal than it was before the law past.  They are creating a cartel in the state as the market, not even close to a legal capitalist free market.  You can buy booze at every corner store, but they want marijuana in only around 300 stores in the state.  The LCB is not representing the wishes and interests of the voters in the state of Washington.

The last thing Washington needs is a government run drug cartel!
